Whether you have a little or a lot of turkey leftover, here are some yummy ways to incorporate them into future meals. Your family will never recognize Thanksgiving turkey on the table with such a variety of flavors. Here are nine simple, yet scrumptious meals our family loves (from left to right pictured above). I substitute turkey for all these chicken entrees. Click on the link for the recipe.
- Turkey and Pepper Jack Cheese Quesadillas
- Turkadilla Soup
- Turkey Enchilada Spaghetti
- Loaded Turkey Tostada
- Turkey Fajita Soup {crock pot}
- Turkey, broccoli and cheese braid
- Turkey Ranch pizza
- Homemade Turkey noodle soup
- Turkey Enchiladas {oven or crock pot}
Don’t forget to use the carcass to make freezer broth {it’s free}. I started mine in the crock pot right away and make a second batch using this recipe. I also shred the warm turkey with a Kitchen Aid mixer and freeze convenience package leftovers for our favorite recipes above.
This was first published November 21, 2012. I still love making at least two or three of these recipes with our leftovers!
