I was blessed to come home after working all day to a quick dinner made by my husband. We had leftover potato soup from the weekend and he added a BLT sandwich with. It was just perfect at 5:30 when I got home from a school meeting.
The boys were gone to a baseball game and it was Mommy time with my 5-year-old. Her favorite activity is baking. She gets in honest from her Mom on a Mission. Together we used seven very ripe bananas and made our favorite banana chocolate chip muffins and pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. Two lunch box treats perfect for the fall weather. Four dozen muffins for the freezer. I’ll call it a work day for sure. We are ringing in the cooler forty degree weather this morning and breaking out the pumpkin!
